Volunteer Highlight — Rachel Gladue

Meet Rachel Gladue!

Rachel Gladue has been a Mentor at Olivet, Prairie Heights, and a Site Director at Move Chiropractic. She is currently a Mentor at our BIO Girls HQ site. She has been volunteering with BIO Girls since 2013! We are so inspired by Rachel’s continuous generosity.

Rachel – thank you! Our team, the girls you have made an impact on, and the Fargo community sincerely thank you.

  • What is your favorite lesson or mantra?

    • “Do I have to pick just one?! PROUD TO BE ME; LIVE TO SERVE”

  • Why do you love volunteering for BIO Girls?

    • “I believe in and love the mission of the program! Throughout my years of volunteering, I have been able to witness the change this program is having on the young ladies in our community. There have been many times in which a girl(s) has come to BIO Girls not sure where to fit in, if she belongs and nervous to participate during large and/or small group. As the season progresses, they realize BIO Girls is a place where one can be themselves and all are welcome. She has an increase in self-confidence which is shown by the increase in their participation and shift in their body language. They set a goal at the beginning of the season of being able to complete a 5k- which seems daunting at first. When they cross the finish line at the end of the race, crushing their 5k goal, seeing the smile on their face = PRICELESS."
