With over 55 Sanford employees volunteering as mentors across BIO Girls sites, their impact extends far beyond their healthcare walls and into the hearts of the girls we serve. Ruby Ihmels, a sophomore at Century High School, Bismarck, ND has been awarded the Gatorade North Dakota Girls Track & Field Player of the Year 2024-2025 for outstanding performance in track. With this prestigious award, winners can designate a $1,000 grant to a 501(c)3 youth sports organization through the Play it Forward Program of the Gatorade Foundation. Ihmels selected Fargo, ND-based BIO Girls, Inc. to receive her grant.
