Bedford Donates to BIO Girls Local Community Service Project

Our BIO Girls in Jackson/Lakefield, MN got to experience a unique service project in 2023.

Kristy Thurmer, Sr. Mechanical Engineer at Bedford and BIO Girls volunteer, taught the girls how to make chairs for Jackson County Schools. Materials were also donated by Kristy’s employer, Bedford.

“As one of the few female engineers in the area, I wanted to show the girls that they could build anything.“
