Noah breker '22-23 Gatorade Minnesota Cross Country Player of the Year

 
 
 

Noah Breker, a homeschool senior, competing for Robbinsdale Armstrong High School, Plymouth, MN has been awarded the Gatorade Minnesota Cross Country Player of the Year 2022-2023 for outstanding performance in cross country.

With this prestigious award, winners can designate a $1,000 grant to a 501(c)3 youth sports organization through the Play it Forward Program of the Gatorade Foundation. Breker selected Fargo, ND-based BIO Girls, Inc. to receive his grant. 

Noah and his family have many connections to communities served by BIO Girls and have known a lot of girls who have benefited from BIO Girls programming.

Congratulations to Noah on this recognition and award. BIO Girls is grateful to be selected by him to receive a grant to further programming in our region. 

BIO Girls, Inc. has now received five Play it Forward grants from Gatorade Player of the Year athletes:

  • Meghan Ford (Jamestown, ND) - Cross Country (2020-2021)

  • Abby Duchsherer (Kindred, ND) - Basketball (2019-2020)

BIO Girls (Beautiful Inside and Out) increases self-esteem in adolescent girls through empowerment of self and service to others. BIO Girls will serve over 3,000 girls in five states in 2023, with confidence-building programming combining structured life skills lessons, small group mentoring, and physical activity. BIO Girls programs are located in North Dakota, Minnesota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and Iowa.
