As a mental health professional, I am often asked how to manage changes occurring within the family system that are impacting kids.  Although there are a wide variety of changes that can occur (e.g., parental divorce or separation, a move, the birth or adoption of a new sibling) as well as many other things, there are a few tips that are consistently helpful in almost any situation involving change.

Dr. Erin Haugen is a Licensed Psychologist and Certified Mental Performance Consultant. She is joining us again for an episode covering growth mindset and tools to help your teen adopt this mindset when it comes to extracurricular activities.

Noah Breker, a senior at Robbinsdale Armstrong High School, Plymouth, MN has been awarded the Gatorade Minnesota Cross Country Player of the Year 2022-2023 for outstanding performance in cross country. With this prestigious award, winners can designate a $1,000 grant to a 501(c)3 youth sports organization through the Play it Forward Program of the Gatorade Foundation. Breker selected Fargo, ND-based BIO Girls, Inc. to receive his grant.
